I think you need to amend the post on your trailer advert then as I asked if the price included VAT and you replied yes ?
Not wishing to teach you to suck eggs but if a price is advertised as 'including VAT' then it means if a perspective purchaser is VAT registered then they can claim the VAT back. If you are not VAT registered then you cannot imply / offer that which unfortunately means that a VAT registered purchaser will not be interested in your trailer until it is cheaper than its before VAT price (unless he needs it quicker than the factory can build it)  |

Seen as I was starting up a Business with this Vehicle & Trailer I did voluntarily register for VAT. Reg No: 203 5896 09. But seen as I'd not actually done any business, the Golf you've seen on the Trailer is my own car, I was simply going to de-register for VAT. And just sell these on as though they were a Private Sale. But after what was said by Matt above & having a think about it I can sell them + VAT & repay at my next quarter. So the NEW Price for the Bowler is £39999 + VAT ps I know that I've knocked £2k off  |
