The time has come to sell the 110 Utility. I thought I'd never sell it, but the ending of Defender production has spurred me on to buying a new one, as this is the last chance.
One owner from new, first registered 11/12/2009. Full service history (First three by specialist independent, 4th and 5th by myself). Current mileage 42,287. MoT'd in December, 2014. Garaged since new. Genuine rubber mats fitted from new. Close fitting "Britpart" waterproof covers on front seats until today. Sensible modifications only - lamp guards to "flush" the front edge with the aircon grille; Gywn Lewis inner wheel arch protectors to front; additional 1/4 windows at rear to improve visibility whilst reversing. Adjustable "slider" towbar. 12V power socket in rear load area. Otherwise, usual XS Spec: Half leather seats, Heated front seats, Air conditioning, Heated front and rear windscreens, ABS and traction control, XS side steps, Radio cd player with mp3 input, Alarm/immobiliser, Remote Central Locking, Power Assisted Steering, etc. The colour is Izmir Blue, which is unusual and although my wife's choice, I like it too. Overall condition is good. The body has a barely noticeable supermarket car park dent on the drivers door and foot scuff marks at the driver door sill. Slight corrosion starting to driver door mirror bracket. Interior is unmarked, except some scuff marks to rear load area door card. The side steps, mudflaps, headlamp bezels and front bumper were replaced under warranty at three years old. This is the pre 2.2 model and benefits from the larger 2.4 engine without diesel particulate filter. XS models of this age have full carpets as standard and come with a rear step! This was the first year to give LGV rate (£225) of road fund licence to the Utility, Station wagons went on for a year or two after at the full car rate (now c. £500). Business users : Qualifies for Annual Investment Allowance (up to 100% of initial cost can be set against business profits at the time of purchase).
