Tata - an Interesting History
I thought this was a good piece and told me several things I never knew about the company that owns JLR not least most of it is owned by charity and the motto of the Tata business empire remains the Zoroastrian creed: Humata Hukhta Hvarshta - which means: good thoughts, good words, good deeds!

The COVID 19 crisis is one of the toughest challenges we will face as a race. The Tata Trusts and the Tata group companies have in the past risen to the needs of the nation. At this moment, the need of the hour is greater than any other time. https://t.co/y6jzHxUafM https://twitter.com/RNTata2000/status/1243852348637605888?s=20

if I understand that correctly they have donated the equivalent of $65 million.............

fair play and something some of our more well healed companies / peeps could learn from instead of trying to bleed the system

I'm struggling with the value - a quick Google pulled up "One crore Rupees is £114,656.82 (As of 30 August 2019)", so if my maths is correct then 1,500 crore is £171,985,230 or just short of £172 million.

I feel sorry for the premiership footballers - they're locked up in their mansions with their trophy wives thinking 'what the hell have I done and how much is a divorce'?
