Right so I've taken the head off and replaced head gasket with new one, the old one didn't look bad at all, new steel dowels as the plastic ones where all bent, new injector seals, water pump and thermostat, got her running and brought her up to temp put the computer on and revved her up to get the thermostat open and it still hadnt moved at 92 degrees, is it possible the new stat is guff?

Did you check the flow through the radiator while the head was off?

Well I think that's all sorted, today the radiator got checked, put it all back together with new thermostat, then I filled the system up, started her, knocked up the RPMs to 2900 and sat for 45 min watching bubbles slowly working out the system whilst topping up, then right at the end a series of bubbles came gurgling out and all the hoses warmed up, what a pain in the arse.
