United Kingdom 2006 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Blenheim Silver
td5 dash switches
Hi,
I have a my06 110 XS td5,
recently fitted a DRL/FOG bumper but not wired up.
I need 2 switches 1 for DRL,1 for Spots,
there is a switch on the top left of my raised dash section with a fog#2 on it ( previous owner had 2 top rear lamps on brackets ),
Buy I need another hoping to get the same on it for the next space along,
which there is a blank switch in now.
can anyone help me with getting that switch or similar.
Im not going to the expense of buying a mud console and all new carling switches even if they do look nice.

do I have to buy need anything behind the switch ?,
im a defender novice please excuse me.

Talk to Tim at mobile centre. He sells the switches and knows his stuff, also site sponsor.

My suggestion would be PaulMc who posts on here - he has an eBay shop.

He's the guru of td5 switches, mega helpful, and good prices.

I couldn't thank him enough for all the help he gave me.

Switch is for your spots, nice that you've got it already as they are now £50 I think. Thumbs Up

As for the DRLs why do you need to switch them? They should be on whenever the engine is running and off (or half brightness when the side / headlights are on) so don't need a switch as such.

So sounds like you have everything you need to do a nice OE type install already. Just a bit of wiring to do.
