Towing with the new Defender
Hello,
I am intending to lease a new 130 early next year and would appreciate any feedback regarding the towing of a caravan/trailer of 2 tonne or more.

Hi I tow a twin axle caravan which with all the gear must be around a couple of tons and no problems what so ever, so much better than a TD5 which is one of the reason it went. First is abit low on large roundabouts where you are soon changing into 2nd with the caravan still in the way of other road users.

Stability good with out a stabaliser device so I am well pleased, as I trade a D3 in for it, its not as good as a D3 for towing but that was just too good for words, but it is still very good.

Back from south of france I pulled around 2000kg on hills (6%) in fifth gear, no problem, and def was full loaded. Amazing car and free heater Laughing when pulling heavy stuff
