Hi all.
I am after a couple if relay holders for my 110. The ones I am after are the ones the yellow relays live in directly under the fusebox. I have universal holders but want a couple of the proper ones which clip onto the bottom of the fuse box surround. Dont really need wires with them, just the plastic casing. Can anyone help please? Cheers but they are like the universal ones i have got. Would rather use the matching (yellow?) Ones which clip onto the metalwork. 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Scrap dealers perhaps? I wanted an OBD connector and got one from an old Jaguar that had past it's sell by in the yard. Relay bases should be in abundance somewhere like that.

As a follow up to the OP's query, does anyone know a source of the metal brackets that Lucas Rists type relay holders fix to, either individual tabs or a generic multi-tab bracket such as this overpriced one on Ebay?
For some reason the tabs only appear to be available with generic type relays, not one their own, and I cannot find anyone who lists a generic multi-tab bracket. Any leads will be gratefully received! |

Blackwolf,
Have you considered visiting Charles Trent and scrabbling around a few of their vehicles? I can normally get any electrical bits 'n' bobs successfully sourced from there! ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Not that it helps you now, but there are Rists holders with brackets moulded to them available from that eBay seller
![]() There are various brackets available from LR for 1/2/more relays, from different vehicles. Whether these will fit the Rists bases, I'm not sure. But a few part numbers might get you started ![]() AMR3134 (5 position?) PRC7140 (3 position?) PRC7054 (2 position?) You might also find something on an MG/Rover which also used Rists components? ![]() ![]() |

Martin, many thanks. AMR3134 might be perfect, but do you have any idea what it actually looks like? None of the suppliers have an illustration (but at under £3 it is more attractive than the ebay classic Rangie bracket I linked to).
Mal - normally I'd do as you suggest but just at the moment I simply don't have time due to pressures of work. I can't get there except at a time when the guard dogs would see me off with a punctured backside! ![]() |

Will do, thanks for your help!
it does seem strange that no-one seems to make a simple, off-the-shelf generic bracket. The relay bases are ISO standard and the tabs are the same for the bases or for the integral slot on an ISO relay itself. I was expecting the kit-car suppliers to have these things falling off the shelves, but apparently not. Perhaps there's an opening here for an enterprising laser-cutting, metal-bending small business. |
