Newbee question

Is this normal?....when i switch the motor off there is an electronic motor sound(for about 10 -20seconds) coming from the back of the truck.I have only done a few hundred miles in the truck and I have not noticed it before.
I assume its the fuel pump (but its quite loud) so can anyone confirm it is the FP and if its working normally

I think that they put a pump in the tank on the 2.2's, the 2.4's don't but am sure an adult will be along in a bit to confirm.

Mine does the same so don't worry - unless both of ours are broken

It appears to be the fuel pump in the rear tank. Easy to check if your sound is coming from there, sit in the vehicle and turn the ignition on and then off after a couple of seconds and you will hear the pump running on for 10 to 20 seconds before it stops.

Thanks bob!I am a bit paranoid as ive done 500 miles and nothing has fallen off,leaked(
