Coolant Loss
I have been aware of very small amounts of coolant loss over the last few months - this morning the plastic tank (2003 TD5) was very low.

Just taken off viscous fan and had a look, it would appear to be the radiator weeping on bottom LHS. I also noticed the inner cooling fins just flacking off like paper.

Does this sound reasonable as I couldn't see any hose leaks?

could be , seems most rads tend to leak first in the corners if no damage done to rad

get a pressure test done on it , then you can check all the other places/joints easily

Sounds like the rad is rotten there aluminium and can rot over time. Other common places for leaks are the bung behind the exhaust manifold and the header tank cap its self.
