Diagnostic tools
I'm looking for a tool that can do both an injector learn and VCV learn on a 2008 110. I'm getting pretty confused with what tool has the capability of doing what function.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

Wouldn't it be better to have the answer somewhere public so others of us with similar questions can see too?

From my looking over the last few days, none of the common hobby ones can, but I'd love to be proved wrong Thumbs Up

Easiest option for anyone would be to use Google or the forum, do a search discover something like 'BBS Solutions' and then contact them direct....they produce the most common tools and have a good reputation. As for capability that depends how deep your pockets are.

Lorryman once his attention would be drawn to this thread he would undoubtedly as ever share his experience anyway.

I own two tools that can complete a pilot correction learn and fuel pump replacement, they are the Blackbox MSV2 and JLR SDD.

Thanks Thumbs Up
I was aware of that thread and had read it a couple of times. I didn't mean to come across wrong, sorry.

The Defender "kit" is about £440 for a single Defender (VIN locked), or about £600 for any Defender (I think).

A Nanocom for a Defender is £310.

It's bit frustrating, I'd happily pay a bit extra for the Nanocom if it could do the fuelling stuff.
I'm looking at the prices, thinking it's worth the jump from the single Defender to any Defender, then wonder if it's worth twice as much as a Nanocom which doesn't need to be plugged in to a computer.
