In my very humble opinion, you won't go wrong with any Beretta.. A good Silver Pigeon is my choice. A good well balanced easy handling multi-choke gun which comes in many guises according to taste and how deep your pockets are. Beretta also do some very good semi autos for vermin/pest control and also some disciplines of clays..ideal for most sporting and skeet particularly. Used to use a semi auto for game but some shoots are quite snobby and that type of gun is frowned upon.

The SGC also lists all guns. There are specific rules you need to understand. Lots on the web to review and would suggest you contact your local FAO. They are human and all the ones I have met have all been very helpful and friendly.
