I had 2 problems with the wipers, one was that the wipers didn't went back to its starting point when i turned off the switch, the other was that the wiper motor sounded like it was running very hard. Now it works perfect and the motor is quiet.

I don't know exactly what they did with the steering box but they told me that they have done some overhaul and adjustments. I think the major problem was the ball joint, because now it has a really good respons when i turn the steering wheel.

Thanks, thats interesting - i get told they all do that (the working hard noise bit) - typical

Glad your steering was fixed - it may be a different note for your not being in the UK, worth keeping in mind for the future? Mike

How many clutch revisions are they on now, im aware of 3 (1 = original, 2 = modified, 3rd current further modification?)

I'm only aware of two - the original Ford spec clutch and the current LR spec clutch? www.ralton.co.za

Just a note on the steering box, unless the rule has changed in the last 6 months (been like it for 10 years) Your steering box shouldnt be adjusted in the warranty period by a dealer it should be exchanged
[...]

Is that really a rule or just a best practice?

Reason I'm asking is because mine was "adjusted", not changed....

I think dealers try and take a short cut some times.

My dealer tried the first time to refurbish my original clutch plate with new springs and lining but it didn't last long before they fitted the revised one. (Later another was again fitted)
They also repaired my radiator once and then ended up replacing it as it leaked again.

Same here,

When I ask why they don't change the seals, they said me that, under guarantee, they are not allowed to open the steering box, just change it.
