Anyone else caught by the scooby bug? Not been possible to own one yet, but maybe in the not too distant future...
Considering a cheapo (late 90s) one as a bit of a track day hoon. Anyone have any experience? Personally think this is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, in its own way. ![]() ![]() Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

The one pictured by you Walfy, the 2 door 22b is the only one worth having. All others are wannabe chav mobiles, the 22b is the true icon of the Impreza. 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

![]() Click image to enlarge Scratched that itch already.... 1998 WR Sport. Great car and plenty fast enough. Nowadays a decent diesel Audi or BMW could beat it though. Still miss the burble though from the exhaust ![]() Would happily take a P1. |

In a past life I was scooby through and through I will be again if I ever need just a car rather than an automotive Swiss army knife. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Cossie's all the way !!! Had several and performed even more engine rebuilds !!! But that was part of the fun of ownership! That was back in the early days of hybrid turbo's and superchips !! The last was sold for sponsorship of the now wife and child
![]() ![]() ![]() Came close to a scooby ownership on a couple of occasions. Unfortunately , like nearly all jap cars the interior was awful ....... Cheap...... The closesest I came was the new shape 330s ![]() Still could be worse, I drive a defender now !! ![]() |
