I have this, a similar random clunk. It occurs either on accelerating or decelerating, at high or low speeds. I think it is the drive flange on the props shaft to rear diff moving on the splines. I think there was a service bulletin about this in the past, which called for the flange to be loctited to the splines in the diff.

Was going to try this on mine, but its not got any worse in 3 years... 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV
