| ozy013 Member Since: 10 Feb 2014 Location: Melbourne Posts: 105      | Castrol Syntrax, fully synthetic 75w-90, is what I've used previously. I now use Motul Gear 300 75w-90 fully synthetic. Both are yellow metal safe, GL4. Some GL4/5 fluids are buffered to prevent yellow metal discolouration. They are, or were available from Autobarn, or Supercrap (on ocassion).  I think there are plenty of links here in regards to the options for gearbox oils, I'll have a look later. These are just the oils I've used, there are other options. The reason I changed to the Motul was the shifts seem so much smoother, especially when cold.
 I also had problems trying to get the Bot 130 in Melbourne, 2 dealers wouldn't sell it and another wanted me to re mortgage the house to purchase it  . Hope this helps, regards Ian. | ||
