Three Lancasters at East Kirby, worth a look:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuOfVWjeL8o I was at one of the Spitfire celebrations at Duxford and the sound of massed Merlins is simply awesome. Somewhere amongst my collection of ancient records I have one that includes some wartime recordings of a squadron of Lancasters taking off on a raid and another recorded as one of the 1000 bomber raids was passing overhead. Just a pity there are no flying Halifax or Stirlings left to share the memory. Steve. Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster but owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.. Now long gone. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |
