Thanks gents! Being able to drive it is very odd but prompted me to put what looks like the original jack, starting handle and wheelbrace back.

Should be a Shelley jack, and that looks just like the right one.

I've done a couple of hundred miles in it now and have had no problems at all; really nice to drive. Here it is nestling amongst some expensive German metal in the office carpark:

Make it quick then as prices are rising although it's taken 45 years odd since stopping production of the S2/2a for values to go up rather than 10 minutes like the Defender |
