My new 2.2 TDCi 110 XS Utility
Just agreed to P/EX my current 110 Hicap 2.4 TDCi for this 110 Utility.

Not a big poster on here but has been invaluable in my research so hope to be able to contribute more in the future.

Dealer agreed to swap my JW Speaker lights and wheels between the vehicles which was the clincher. Wasn't looking for a 2.2 but impressed on test drive, was quite surprised it was quiter than the 2.4. Hope I don't miss the bigger engine in time....

The 2.2 is every bit as capable, but is a wee bit different to drive. I tried both before plumping for the 2.2!!

I lived with my silver 110 for a few weeks before I changed it for the current black 110 during thus time I opted to have it remapped by Gary Wood at Alive, the map Gary formulated for me increased the torque to make overtaking, around town driving & towing my trailer easier. Best money I've spent so far!!

Hope you enjoy your new wheels Thumbs Up 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Perhaps you'll let us know what you think of Hunters if you get the thing serviced there. (It is Hunters isn't it?)

The sales lot weren't very good when I was looking for a USW, but maybe the workshop's better.

And of course, Congrats on the new purchase Thumbs Up 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop

Thank you for your comments, not drunk when taking the pic but admit it was a jaunty angle!

It is with Hunter's in Guildford. Sales was good, at least they were accommodating on the trade in and swap of lights etc. so thumbs up there, certainly not what I expected.

Service wise lets see. I get my FFRR serviced with Guava who I will also get to service the Defender.

Now planning the remap and mods from there - forum search here I come

Ha. Funnily enough my USW's going to Guava on Tuesday for the turbo hose recall (has your's been done?).

I asked them to look at some other small bits when I popped over and got the standard unhelpful dealer 'there's nothing wrong with that" and "it's a Defender, it's supposed to rattle like that" sort of comments.

Hence my wondering about Hunters workshop.

Also I have remap info if you're interested. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop

ooohh that pick up is pure porn for me. Awesome.

I think the 2.2 and 2.4 are little more than a tune beside capacity. Could be wrong. My Defender and travels

Quick update, LEDs on and wheels moved across. Noisekiller went in today along with a Alpine sub and also bought the SVX bracket to mount my Garmin Nuvi which works well
