I have a new unfitted Mechlock but no pipes or hoses I originally intended to fit it to my Dakar but there wasn't enough room. There's 3 keys with it. Gime a shout if you are interested.

Information and old unit.
Has anyone got the original instructions for a Mech lock installation and or one they do not use anymore and are happy to sell in a used condition. Also looking for original pipework and connectors.
Did any of the LR magazines do an article about Mech lock,?

Thanks Peter.

Hi. Mud stuff (http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/ used to sell these (they may still). Have you tried them as they might be able to help out with fitting instructions etc. There have been a couple of articles in the past about them as well - one in LRW and one in LRO. Doubt there's a reprint of the LRW article available now Smile

People still have stacks of magazines. !! I got LRO mags are mags fro when they began. Black and white days Wink

Yes tried Mudstuff. No one sells it anymore hence why I want one as they worked. Where other devices did not - ignoring giant slabs of metal over the footwekl and steering wheel.
Mlsystem.co.uk was the suppler they were just middle men for the device which was allegedly made in Italy. Then apparently according to muyd stuff a cheaprer alternative came on the market which was not as good and killed the market for both. Hence asking the questions.
Peter.

Yep, the device does originate from Italy. Site still pops up on google Smile , as does mls. They are also shown on D44, but I have no idea if they still have any in stock.

I have one fitted to my Defender hence the (limited) knowledge Smile

Good luck with the search....
