It will be mainly"grubby" stuff - I work with "unwanted" teenagers in London and we have just picked up an allotment project, so I need to transport the tools and equipment, so nothing major weight wise - although if we use it for personal use it would be to carry camping gear etc.
I guess if possible a "cool" factor would also be good and it would help to foster an interest in addition to the immediate tasks at hand  Defender 110 Puma Utility XS |

Ive been towing some nice small IFor's recently - open and box "small" trailers. like:

I'd still recommend the Sankey.
It's the most trailer for your money, is pretty much indestructible, is better off road than any other trailer by a country mile and looks the dogs danglies in my opinion. Kids love it

I agree. A good nick sidetrack Sankey will fulfill most needs and costs the fraction of an Ifor with the same capacity.
You could trawl eBlag for a few months or go straight to someone like Withams and spend. £300. It would be worth it. We love our Sankey and the kids love it too. It takes everything. Anything very long and roof bars come to the rescue  |

Mr W, can you see that trailer behind your 110 from the driver's seat? Our Sankey is a narrow track and on a gentle left hand bend, I can hardly see it in the mirrors! I'd be weary of towing something I can't see is still attached to the car.

Never tried it behind the 110 as we mainly used it for extra storage when going on holiday with the 90. With the 90 though I could see the trailer mud guards which was enough for normal driving and backing (like a man) with the mirrors. It was bit of a bargain as I got it off ebay at 6 months old for £500 including the lid, I think the whole lot retails at around £1500, I wouldn't of paid that but I can see why it's worth that much |

The problem i find with a Sankey is that its not the easiest thing to load up with something heavy as its a long way off the ground. If you dont go off road with the trailer then i think a ifor is better suited for more general use and you can tow it with something other than a landy.
Having said that im looking for a Sankey at the moment but i do have quite a large selection of other trailers to choose from for different jobs! |

Thats what i used to have, well slightly bigger. Only got rid of it for another Ifor just a proper plant trailer so the dumper will fit and make it easer to load a the 2.4t 360 You say of roading, but how far of road is it going? The Ifor's will happily be dragged up & down a rutted field but there is a limit. |
