2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Santorini Black

Touring in July, Europe.

Hi, after a long period of illnes and recovery, I am rejoining my family after a long spell apart and we are having about a month in europe, leaving 28th June.

first couple of nights we are visiting friends in Gouda, Holland and then heading east to Austria, Slovenia and beyond.

itinerary is very flexjble, although we will get to Sarajevo in the end. Kids want some time on the beach as well.

anyone got any good suggestions as where to visit? We will be camping in our new Bell tent as well, so any stunning locations for ca, ping would be welcomed as well

Can I suggest as a country under the title of 'beyond' Croatia is put quite high up the list. I toured the Balkans for nearly 4 months last year in my old RRS and I was blown away by Croatia.

The cleanliness, the unspoilt coast lines, the roads that easily compete with the best the alps has to offer, the scenery which is just breath taking. The ability to hop on and off ferries with your car to explore the most beautiful islands and so unspoilt (relatively).

It really is a place one cannot speak more highly of and a reason why I'm now looking for property out there and may be a nice retirement spot for my NAS 90

yes Gross glockner is on the list as is Bled, looking to stop there in a campsite on way down to Sarajevo.

love Croatia, been to Dubrovnik many times, would like to visit again, looking at Kotor in Montenegro as well which I am told is like a mini Dubrovnik.
