post 2002 switch choice
hi all, im currently fitting cruise control into my td5 90, im trying to make it as factory as possible, my question is for a madter switch could i use a p 38 switch as below in place of my heated seat blank

You would have to modify your facia, as the P38 switch is too big to fit into any of the Defender's switch apertures.

The easiest and cheapest option would be to use a Puma heated seat switch (YUF500150LNF) -

and swap its front with the blank switch front curently in your facia.

This switch uses the readily available Black 5-way switch connector.


If you wanted to use the switch's tell-tale LED, you would need to drill a 2.4mm hole for the 'lense' to poke through.

You could also engrave a 'Cruise Control' symbol into the blank switch front, like this -
