Have i used the wrong engine oil
Hi guys

I bought 2 x 4lts of Castrol magnatec ( green can ) today to service my 90 200tdi and it said on the can for petrol and diesel engines and when I got home and started servicing it i found an old can in my garage of magnatec again in a ( green can ) and it said for diesel engines, is the petrol / diesel stuff ok for my 90 Embarassed Graham

England 
few years ago now ,but I used magnetec 10/40 in my 200tdi
and if it say petrol / diesel on it then must be ok

Cheers for that i was just worried with the 200 being a turbo engine but as you say should be ok Thumbs Up Graham

if you go to castrol web site there is a oil selector and you put your reg number in and it tells you what oil , amount etc

1984 Defender 90 200 Tdi SW Keswick Green
a 200 will run on almost anything. Not a fussy tart like these modern things!
