What size tyres for 18s
What are peoples view on tyre size for 18s ?

Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs
3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P
hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit
ashcroft atb in transfer box
6 speed auto in build

England 
bfg 265/65/18 are best part the same rolling radius / height etc as 235/85/16 standard tyre

0.5% differance in diameter
-4 mm change in diameter
max you should change is 2.5%
so there very close

I do like that size also but have had experience where as they are so wide they just go like slicks

Scotland 2010 Defender 130 Puma 2.4 HCPU Santorini Black
285/65x 18 Work fine and don't rub if you are running twisteds 0ET wheels

I am running them now with BFG All Terrains and they are fine. The 130 is heavy so I reckon slightly wider tyres help to keep it from sinking and cutting up the ground.
