You read it here first. The Defender will definitely go on until 2020. How do I know this? Simple. If you check the Halfords site and use the oil checker for your car you will see that Halfords list the Defender up until 2020. So I think we can end all the speculative replacement Defender threads now.

If LR continue the same trend since launch of the Puma in 2007,.......... by 2020 it will have a 1.6L Puma engine.
 You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

A couple of more years in production and they might just get the build quality right.
