Let me tell you a story of what can come of this forum
I am at this moment on my way around south america in my defender. In Argentina a noise during acceleration started getting worse. In this forum I have been talking with Edurado who lives in Santiago, so I contacted him and he advised me about persons that could help me investigate. The problem turned out to be a turbo bearing that was about to fail. During the next three weeks, Eduardo helped me import and get the new turbo mounted. Beside this help, he and his family had us as guests many times in their home. Eduardo and his family changed a very bad situation into a very pleasant experience. Many thanks to Eduardo and his family !!! (also a thanks to Pete from BAS for getting the turbo shipped so quickly)
