Is it coveed under warranty though? Normally is if due to premature failure, but excessive wear due to driver isn't. An engine to TDi for!

Not sure how it could be proven what is driver error and what is fair wear. A car of the spec and design of a defender should be fitted with a clutch that can last longer than 22000 miles of normal road driving.!!!
Got a 110 SW hire car in the meantime !! Chris Bowler |

Got my 110USW back yesterday. New clutch and slave cylinder. Centre of the clutch friction plate had collapsed. Still all covered by warranty.
