Rear wiper conundrum
Hi all, recently I have been fiddling around trying to get my rear wiper and washer to work. They haven't worked since I bought it. First I thought it was the switch as both don't work, but it appears that approx 9 volts is getting to the connector on top of the wiper. I took the cover off the motor and discovered that the contacts had rusted solid onto the two magnets. Having cleaned everything to remove rust and sprayed everything with wd40 I put it back together but it still doesn't work, I'm know wondering if It is a dead relay?

Strangely though know when I turn the wiper switch (circular combination type) a warning light flashs on the dash. I believe it to be the warning light for water in the fuel? It looks like a pan of water with a drip falling from the bottom. Also the blower has stopped blowing, however that might be down to removing the binnacle on Saturday to have a look behind.

Rear washer wise, I have no idea. It doesn't seem to work, however in the past when the alarm has gone off water has sprayed out of the rear washer?! I believe the front intermittent wiper relay has died as I have no front intermittent and have to manually turn the wipers on when washing front windshield.

Any ideas why either the wiper or washer isn't working? And why does the warning flash on and off?
