Had a similar problem a couple of years ago and the wife's cousin who is a window fitter just kept thumping the offending side of the frame and it cause the lock to release. Don't make old people mad.

Cheers. I have been having a look today and it appears there is only one bolt either side and just one is moving.
I have the frame a beating and no joy. I got the glass out and tried pushing the frame but no good. Overall, I think it will be a new window ![]() Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Issue resolved. Found a local window man, who popped out and within 5 mins had the window open.
