For the mirrors position regulations I'll use a Disco3 switch (mirror heated elements connected to the rear heated screen)
Click image to enlarge in this case the wiring will be Click image to enlarge Swapping the pin 4 (will be 12V switched) and 6 (will be the ground) (due to the Mercedes electric motors connections inside the mirror) Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated

Are you going to drill the doors to mount them, or try to fit to the hinges?

Daniele, maybe you want to give Startech a call about how they install those Mercedes mirros onto Defenders.
Or you come and visit the Geneva Motor Show in March. I would be surprised if Startech would not have a nice Defender with those Mercedes mirrors on display here. Eric http://www.startech.de/en/news/news/starte...-2014.html You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

But I like to do myself .... Saving a lot of money...... Have you seen the Startech price for the Gelande mirrors installations????????????? And they install mirrors as I described .....
