Reconsider having an A bar on the bumper and get some spots on it, makes a huge difference.

Why Van sides? It will decrease your visibility considerably, are the windows ok? (first dibs if you plan to sell them!!!!!) Whistle Whistle

Paint the roof as well. Thumbs Up 2015 RRS Autobiography SDV6

Yeah I am not a big fan of bull bars, A bars, inc external grills as aspecially when offroading can cause more damage either by impact or getting caught on something.

the side panels that are on it now I will be keeping just in case at a later date I mite swap them back over but I just prefer the van look really and being used to driving vans for a living in the past and owning van versions of s11a's / s111's landies I want to put van sides on.

yeah I will be keeping to the same colour sceam white top and the rest in green as I like it and reminds me of my last series landy I had in the same colour but with a limestone top Smile Graham

I'd leave it as is - except for maybe the wheels/tyres. No need to ruin it.

Simex is a drastic choice though - will be absolutely terrible on the road and too aggressive for green lanes really.

For mild off roading some ATs would be fine. MTs if you want to go a bit more 'hardcore'

Insas and the like are realy designed for competition standard offroading and not on road. They will be very noisy and I imagine the braking abilities are much worse than a decent AT/MT.

I've got Cooper STTs which are a good value and very good all round MT - and they look quite aggressive if you are after looks.

Some insurance companies are a bit iffy with bull bars or even A bars. Might be worth checking. They don't need an excuse to slide out of paying if they have to!
