Odd loose wire with connector below my tweeters
I managed to knock one of my stereo's tweeters out of its housing and lose it beneath the dashboard and beyond the window vent ducting- making recovery of it very difficult. Fortunately I was able to remove one of the larger speakers fixed nearer the footwell and recover it so I could re-fix it back up on the dash but whilst doing so discovered a loose wire with a connector just sitting amongst all the odd stuff under the dash. The photo should make it clear.

Does anybody know what this cable/connector is for?

I assume it is for some kind of original speaker or something? Should I just ignore it ever existed? Razz

Looks like the original tweeter plugs and wires, if they are they would have both a positive and negative each. Thumbs Up Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

yeah your tweeters aren't gen LR so they must be wired differently leaving the original wiring behind Cheers, David

Thought as much, many thanks for the replies. I'll just leave it alone - like I should most things I have no idea about Smile
