2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black

Fair turnaround time

Hi All,

Just wondering if I am being unreasonable here....
2011 90 XS went in to main dealer for a service and a couple of warranty items back in November (3rd Week).
Service was done - no issues

Warranty claim for rusty headlamps - sorted without question and replacements fitted off the shelf, no apparent Landrover HO involvement

Warranty claim for paint flaking on the grill still outstanding - been told numerous times that the dealer has passed this to Landrover HO and back to the body shop for a decision on replacement vs respray and this morning that this has gone back to Landrover HO for cost approval. I appreciate there have been a few festivities in the past couple of weeks but surely this is a proven issue and shouldn't take that long to sort?

Its making me think twice about using the warranty for fixing the leaking windscreen seal and small rust patch that's appearing around it along with the rusty front bumper.

Should I just chill out as they normally take a while to go through?

Hi Chris,

Sorry to hear about the delay.

In short the answer is no, it shouldn't take that long. I am not sure about your bodyshop's opening hours but the warranty team were here every day apart from the 25th, 26th and the 1st.

Once the bodyshop/dealership send through the warranty job it will be looked at the same day (normally within a couple of hours).
