Audio Connectivity System LR007467....Do I need it?
We have just taken delivery of our new "90" which in Aus comes standard with the upgraded stereo with subwoofer etc...it also has a USB/I Pod "slot" on the RHS of the unit.
When we ordered or 90, we specified "audio connectivity system LR007467" as an option, but Dealer tells me that it is not required with the new '13 alpine stereo which already has a USB/ I Pod "slot".
Not being really "up" with "electronics" etc, can someone please tell me if what the dealer is saying to me is correct,....ie, that LR007467 is not needed/required with the factory stereo that came with our '13 Defender?
Thanks, Pickles.

No that was for the out going head unit. Nothing fancy just a lead with iphone connector on one end and jack on the other.

The new unit is Bluetooth so no need to have a lead

Yep, Dealer's right, no longer necessary! Were you charged for the "audio connectivity system"? An engine to TDi for!

Gum, No, apparently I wasn't, but when I did the deal I thought I had been because it was written on the contract. But there were all sorts of discounting, but I was not charged for this at all I have learned, because the sales Manager knew it wasn't required. Only problem was, they didn't tell me! It shouldn't have been left on the contract,...but all is good now.
Thanks, Pickles.
