They would need mounting in close prximity to each other to work correctly ie 2 in the door tweeter on the dash. More suited to direct replacement in a euro box Thumbs Up They are also more of an entry level speaker Whistle Your not far off 4/5" K2 power money, or polly glass (which is what I have). Ideally imo you'll need a sub of some description to complement any speaker upgrade Thumbs Up

165mm won't be a straight swap either, a no go on the front and only the rear with speaker panel modification. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Very true which IMO is pretty pointless to the rear anyway. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

Well mud sell the conversion for the rear.

Would the sound really be no better than the standard. It will come fitted with the alpine sub and my parrot head unit. I was going to get the sound proofing fitted as well.

Rob,The kit you highlighted requires all 3 speakers to be mounted together so as the cross over seperates the different frequencies to the correct cone. Seperating them will spoil the sound, and no improvement will be noticed, probably sound worse Rolling Eyes K2's are the ultimate, but as I said I have the polly glass that are the same money as what you are looking at Whistle IMO Focal is the way to go, there are alot forum users already converted Thumbs Up

No but they seem highly recommended on here and have heard good things about them.

Just spotted those while looking at offers on halfords site and seemed a good price.

Which would you recommend it's a 110 I am getting.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Focal-Polyglass-...3cbc2487f8 is what I have in front and rear of mine. Coupled with a sub the clarity is amazing Mr. Green Ideally you want componants up front (Like these) but could get away with co axials in the back. Componants are better as the highs don't fade if you play it long and loud. Dynamat is a well worth investment in itself. It will keep the music IN as well as unwanted noise Out Thumbs Up

How did you make them fit in the dash.

For Focal details Jim is your man. Thumbs Up
Dash fitting involves careful planning but personally I would advise no bigger than 13cm Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

It involved a bit of cutting, but it is a TD5. I have looked at a puma, and been trying to persuade Steve to grow a pair and fit some Laughing With a spacer it'll be no problem. The other alternative is the 4" K2's which are about another 30. As I said the one's in the back don't need to be so fancy, but well worth it Whistle
