I think the confusion might(?) perhaps stem from that when we had opening flaps they were made of aluminium on a steel bulkhead but nowadays they are just a pressing in the bulkhead (which is of course steel). I will get my hat now. ![]() |

Vincent, you are welcome to do so. Keep me informed if that happens, as I know some good spots at the lakefront where we can sail the Defender to and dock to have a nice lunch ![]() http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I'm sure you wouldn't be docking your (amphibious) Defender on Lake Geneva - maybe berthing, coming alongside or mooring? Either way it's all good entertainment and I'm sure Eric knows of some top class spots for a very civilised luncheon. I'm just surprised the Swiss still allow Defenders on their roads.
