RDX Power vent grill

Anyone had experience of this item ?
Apparently it endorsed by Bell autos,
Is it simply a mud and water deflector that bolts on the outer wing ?
Or is there more wizardry than that ?

I think it's just bolt on the outside, nothing more to it than that

I expect any 'Ram effect' implied will be minimal if at all.

So if anything it will catch any water and spray from off the road / tyres ?

... but it's a shiny accessory thats easy to fit. Mind you it's not reassuringly expensive so it must be rubbish ! Maybe if they tripled the price ...
