That is what I thought at first as well. It appears to be made out of a foam rubber like material.

isint it just part of the sealing foam between the lower sill panel and door section? i wouldnt worry about it Cheers

just a bit of weather seal between the sill panel and the body. I'd say fix it yoursef (don't get the dealers to do it) - I wish I had !

Mine came off some time ago, it's nothing to worry about. Just pull the loose bits off. 130 crew cab

Is there a product that one can get, either online or from Halfords, that would do the trick? I tried pushing it back in and it doesn't stay. |

That's basically the draught-excluder foam that they fit to fill the panel gaps. Definitely get the dealer to replace it, although it is pretty rubbish foam and seems to perish pretty easily. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
