cibit,
Its £100 for the pair, they are the ones pictured in my avatar. Bloody good long distance beam on it and by spinning the body on the bracket you can focus the beam very much like a maglite from narrow pencil to broad flood. I,d like to keep em for the Disco but i kinda like the front ends uncluttered, as long as i can get a decent spec with the fogs in the front bumper i'll be happy. Alan PM replied to Thanks. I,ve had a 110 and dont really get on with them altho my 5 year old will go ape when he sees the Disco sat on the drive. I,ve got a trailer too, which alas is also going ! Its a good one, not quite a TREK OVERLAND but as close as youre gonna get without spending £7.5K, and it came from TREK OVLND, it was the one they did before this one now. If you need any info on the trailer then please let me know. I think it was about £4K when new, i got the ex demo one and its got all the bits and bobs on it. Looking for about a grand TBH, but open to sensible offers, DEFENDER XS CSW 08 TONGA GREEN |

Just bought an auto FL2 for my wife. i have to confess (it's the first auto in my die-hard manual history) it's a revelation!
Believe me, I'm not being lazy (I used to race cars and was a fervent petrol head) but I don't know why we'd choose a manual over an automatic for 95% of the time. I've driven the 2.7 D3 auto and it is sublime. An auto off road is most definitely the way to go (G-wagon has been auto for years and is arguably one of the very best overland vehicles). I think I posted your trailer photos when you bought it. Nice looking piece of kit - arrows kit if I remember correctly. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

With the auto you still can change gears yourself, just use the tiptronic, the only advantage I've seen with the manual is slightly more mpg, the advantages of the auto far outweigh that especially when a trailers involved. Pete Original Member Pie n Pea Club. 110 HCPU Tipper |
