SOLD: 2005 Range Rover Vogue TD6 Auto (Pic heavy)
I am selling my Father's previous Range Rover now that I got him into a TDV8, so here we go:

2005 (Jan) 54 plate TD6 Vogue Auto
1 Previous owner - Land Rover Company Vehicles (Was being used by Marco Pierre White prior to my Father, and was featured on a TV programme with him and Gordon Ramsay driving around in it) Very Happy
12 months MOT - Expires 12/09/2014
Tax till end of September 2013

Adriatic Blue Metallic (The best metallic blue ever done IMHO)
Navy Oxford Leather with Parchment piping and Parchment dash and door panels
Navy Leather dash topper
Ivory Headlining
Navy Carpets
Burr Walnut
All books present
2 keys
Venturecam
CD (MP3) , Radio, TV
Xenons
Rear parcel Shelf
18" alloys inc spare

This is a touch screen Sat Nav version so a little more up to date than earlier models, and has a full Vogue specification plus:

Factory Option Privacy Glass
Detachable Towbar and electrics
Mud flaps all round

Mileage is now at 97,200

Service History:

24/08/2005 - 11,673 - HR Owen London
15/02/2006 - 21,460 - HR Owen London
09/10/2007 - 36,753 - Sturgess Leicester

19/06/2012 - 86,161 - Independent

MOT History and Mileages:

10/09/2011 - 78,340
08/09/2010 - 68,605
08/09/2009 - 57,667
11/09/2008 - 47,149

Tyre Tread Depths:

OSR - 3mm
OSF - 5mm
NSR - 3mm
NSF - 6mm

Pirelli, Nexen, Goodyear and Kumho tyres on

More good Points:
A solid reliable car, good specification, FSH, could look amazing with some newer wheels etc. Air con is ice cold, all audio stuff works.

I have given the car a full bodywork Meguiars 3 stage paint cleaning process, and cleaned and conditioned all the leather with Gliptone.

The Bad Points: (I prefer to be honest)
The detachable tow bar lock broke off, the only way to remove it is to remove the carrier neck
Front and rear bumpers have some scratches and knocks and need touching up or, maybe this is a good facelift car?
It has some minor bodywork blemishes as you'd expect for a car this age, in particular a small ding above the OSR light.
The tyres are a mix of makes and tread depths (as seen above)
The sunroof one touch close doesn't work very well
There is some chipping to the foundry finish around the ashtray pot
The drivers seat squab has a split in the side where it has pinched against the plastic trim, and has some minor marks.
It is due a service now

This isn't a brand new car but has lead a productive life and has plenty left in it. I realise the next owner may want to put some money towards tarting it up/blinging it up so I'm open to offers.

Car is in Leicestershire, near Melton Mowbray.

Asking price £8,750

What a lot of car for the money ! you would be hard pushed to get a Defender of that age for the money.

Good luck with the sale. 2005 Td5 90 XS

Agree 100% - Excellent advert

Defenders once they get to that age seem to hold value better than Discovery's or Range Rovers Whistle 2020 P300 HSE
