Last minute camping in UK
Have found ourselves with 10 days free and need some inspiration for camping.

Preferably Wales or North of the midlands rather than Cornwall. Will be taking the Oztent and Tipi and don't mind Wild camping, infact prefer the secluded option.

Could even arrange a gathering, green laning.

I'm thinking Lake District as not been there.

Any recommendations or nearby members fancy a BBQ/ drive out?

This is an answer to your PM. Not the best way to reach you but the system will not let me PM you until I have made more posts and your request sounded urgent!

Julio is a Land Rover enthusiast, experienced builder and driver of desert raid vehicles and has always sorted out any problems I can't do myself. He has a general workshop/taller/garage but always has a large number of Land Rovers of all ages for repair, parts, etc. He has very little English. If that is a problem then I am not far away.

I had a problem, myself, in Alicante on Monday, so I know how you must be feeling. You have my sympathy. I'll try to get back in contact later to see how you are getting on.

There is no caravan site there, but anyone travelling to the Lake District for a few does should visit the gorgeous village of Cartmel. Brilliant pubs and restaurants there too
