thanks Very Happy Thumbs Up

iv'e done a few things to him since i got him the last owner got into a bit of a tif with a wicklow spruce tree , and the front n/s wing got damaged along with the passenger window the rear worklight and a few other little bits
i've sorted all out now apart from the wing which needs the outer skin replaced have to get the paint code from the builder Whistle
i bought a set of anthracite ZU rims which will get a set of 305ish all terrain type tyres when i find a set
and i've changed the steering wheel for something smaller ie a nice leather mountney wheel
a few more plans in the pipe line including avery heavy duty gearboxx member guard /slider that are being made up by a friend they'll get galvanised after christmas and fitted in due course
i plan to change the half shafts and cvs for kam stuff in time too ailrc.net

Very nice indeed. It's a shame Land Rover never went ahead with their plans to sell a 100" wheelbase Defender: it seems the ideal length. Peter
