What kind of cheese do LR make the locking nut and key from?
Just had the front drivers wheel off to get a good application of Dinitrol on the go and both the locking wheel nut and key twisted and deformed into a useless mess.

Having only had the Landy for 2 months this is the first time its ever been used - junk.

I'm going to ditch all the locking wheel nuts and put regular ones on. Hopefully the stealer will cough up some nuts! (sounds weird).

I have never had trouble with them in over 15 years. Maybe they were over tightened after PDI check.

On a serious note there are alternatives to the standard locking wheel nuts. I wouldn't go without unless you want possibly at least £1000 + of wheels and tyre's to be more at risk. ____\We|Will|Win/___

I'll see what the stealer says first. Hopefully they'll just replace them all. Otherwise i dont think they are much of a deterrent for thieves - just bash an oversize socket on and your off.

What i dont understand is why they've made them cream cheese!

They are made from the same type of cheese as the way you need to do them up/remove them....
