Best all round wheel and tyre combination?
I have 265X16 KL71's and SVX alloys on my Stornaway Grey 90 XS and to be honest they look a bit "bling"... what do you guys think looks the best and give good grip with very little road noise? I have my original new "Boosts" and was thinking along 265 BFG MT'S in 265's but fear the drone... thanks. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

Mickey Thomsons ATZ is a good all round tyre a bit more agressive than a BFG AT but very quiet Thumbs Up

How do they compare to BFG AT in terms of on-road performance? Most of my miles (nearly all) are on-road so I don't want to compromise safety and fuel economy any more than I have to. Off road, I know the AT's will be better than the standard Grabbers and I understand the ATZ's are a bit more aggressive still.

Mickey Thomsons are made by Cooper aren't they? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

When i changed from BFG MT 285 75 16 to Mickey T 305 60 18 MTZ i got about an extra 30 - 40 miles out of a tank Shocked and now im on the ATZ the miles have gone up again. They are very quiet and should match the BFG for lasting and are more comfortable due to a bit more give in the side walls Thumbs Up
