I think the main reason dogs have been stopped is the whole minority vs majority thing again

Here in Munich, dogs are in the majority and are allowed pretty much everywhere except public bathing areas (for obvious reasons). In the past there were even some restaurants where dogs were allowed and young kids weren't Shocked
Then things changed and kids now have equal status Laughing
It makes eating out a lot easier and more fun Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I am lucky to have a local which is super dog friendly - sometimes there are more hounds than humans. Give me a pub full of dogs over kids any day. Most parents think the pub is a babysitting service and let them run free without any supervision.

I have little tolerance for both badly behaved children and dogs, unfortunately both species seem to be in majority in many public spaces these days. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

Points to note;

You can sell a dog.

If your dog is really badly behaved, the Police will take it away for destruction.

Dogs are animals, children are people, I love both of mine but my daughter is always higher up the pack order compared to our dog.

As for restaurants etc, out doors dining dogs are fine, but indoors NO WAY. 130 Puma HCPU with an Artica 240LR Demountable Camper

Sorry but we are all animals and my dog is just as self aware as a child and is no less deserving of respect and affection. Children have to be trained just like dogs do at which point i fail to see why there should be the level of discrimination towards dogs that there is. Whilst my dog is not show level obedience trained i defy anyone to show me a child that can do as well for as long when it comes to doing what it is told. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Ah, the old 'we're all animals' gambit. If you can't see the distinction then there's little point in the discussion. Darren

My daughter was bitten in the face on the 2010 LR show in Peterborough and seriously hurt.

I am not against dogs on events in general and well trained, mind healthy dog will not attack a human person. The main problem is the owner or keeper of the dog, the same with cars or guns.

BTW, the dog was not destructed. Neither UK police nor the show organisation were helpful at all in this case.

For me, humans are always upfront of animals. This doesn't mean that i disrespect animals. WANTED:

SII or SIII in max 1.5k

Most well behaved dogs on leads are acceptable in most situations. I have a dog and would be lost without him. As for children, spawn of the devil. Noisy, unruly and annoying. Easily live without them.

For a dog to bite a child is strange unless it was trained to bite or if the dog was on a lead then most dogs only lash out when they feel threatened. Not sure in your case Nak???? 110 D250 SE HT

It was a springer spaniel on a lead and the attack came totally unexpectetd.

My both kids know how to behave with dogs and my daughter did NOTHING wrong. She was just at th wrong time at the wrong place. I was with her all the time and saw the attack with own eyes.

And i agree:

its the same with kids and dogs: there are bad behaviours on both of them. But this is caused by the owners /parents and so we are back to the point. WANTED:

SII or SIII in max 1.5k
