2013 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Corris Grey

Step bumper fitting question

I'm looking at fitting my step bumper today - I have a question already!

There are inserts that go inside the existing rear crossmember - but I can't see how they fit in as the body seems to be in the way! Is there something I'm missing? (There normally is!!) I can put them in upside down, but they look like they could drop down inside the crossmember if I fit them that way!

All sorted! They are 'identical' for left/right, but different enough that they fitted from below when swapped over!
