Alpine Seal Replacement How Hard Can It Be?
I'm working my way round the most likely leak areas in my TD5 and am now looking suspiciously at the fairly weathered alpine window seals.
I'm wondering how difficult it is to replace them and if it would be within my capabilities.
Any advice and tips would be most appreciated plus suitable supplier.
Thanks in anticipation

Ten years down the line there's a Mini in there somewhere, and Censored all's where it should be!!!! Ho hum

It isn't hard, but a bit of washing up liquid and one of these: Window Insert Tool , will make it easier.
Thumbs Up

Mine are needing done as well. I just ordered a new windscreen rubber seal. Don't have the bottle to fit it myself though so going to get a professional as its a heated windscreen.

I got the new rubber from one of the site sponsors MPS trading. Simon was very helpful and the goods arrived next day so worth a call to him.

I might give the alpine lights a go myself as the glass is much smaller. The technique seems to be loads of washing up liquid and used a piece if single core wire to pull the windscreen rubber in to place.
