Been looking at Angel Eye myself but was waiting till Billing, I would suggest that you just pick up the feed wire to the original side lights and use a scotch lock, better still a heat shrink in line crimp, my preferred method, then the Angel Eye LEDs should come on with side lights only.

No i haven't tried them yet but i believe that i must cut into the sidelight loom to connect with sidelights. Will be looking at it this weekend.

All the same I would recommend you do try them first. My headlights come on with sidelights all be it dipped (Lower power than dipped) if that makes sense. This happened IIRC when I changed bulbs.
Either way I would just try it and you never know you might not need to connect to the sidelight at all! Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

On my Puma I get side lights only no dim dip on the headlamp unlike the 300Tdi that I have sold.? 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW
