Wading preperation
Hi all, im looking at preparing my 2003 90 for wading i'm aware of the obvious, air intake and breathers and electronics although after changing the injector loom recently i am concerned about a plastic cap on the cylinder head, there is a black plastic cap inline with the camshaft on the front face of the head, its not a tight fit neither does it have any form of seal?? surly this would allow water ingress?? any help/ advice gratefull. ive not had her long so still learning, treat me like the idiot i am cheers Ed

That camshaft cap is fine.... if oil doesn't come out then water won't come in (and it's under a bit of pressure from inside the engine.

Usual suspects are: wading plug in clutch bellhousing, ECU under the drivers seat, throttle pedal (Can revert to "tickover" only if it gets too wet.

There's not a holder for it, like the older models had. so it'll either be fitted or in the cubby box/tool roll.
