That's exactly it really, 3 holes need to be drilled on the sill bottom and 2 on the lip of the wheel arch. I bought mine from MUD4x4 and they include the Rivits as well

Not sure if you can fit them with chequer plated sills though unfortunately, otherwise I'd have some.

Yes, with the SE rain today definately not as much spray along the sides. The fitment is Snug on the Mud Flaps, hardly a gap between them
